Frequently Asked Questions:

What days and hours will Seattle Mini Maker Faire be open to the public?

Saturday, March 22nd, 10:00 a.m.  to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 23rd, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.   Based on attendance from last year, Sunday will be less crowded and you can spend more time working in the workshops.

Where can I park?

Ample street parking and pay lots surround EMP and Seattle Center. There is a pay lot next to EMP at 5th Avenue N and Harrison Street. This is the only Seattle Center lot where oversized vehicles, including but not limited to school buses, motor coaches and recreational vehicles, may park. Designated handicapped parking spaces are available at all Seattle Center lots.

Is public transportation available?

Over a dozen neighborhood bus routes stop at Seattle Center!  You can view a list of Seattle bus routes, or use the King County Metro Transit online trip planner.

Can I bring my dog?

Service Dogs only inside the EMP Museum.

Can I volunteer at Seattle Mini Maker Faire?

Yes!  Please visit our volunteer signup form.

What can I expect?

Seattle Mini Maker Faire celebrates learning, creation, and knowledge sharing. At Seattle Mini Maker Faire, you will find exhibits created by professionals and amateurs from across the Pacific Northwest.

Some exhibits that are interactive may contain small parts and pieces, moving parts, fire, electricity and other potentially dangerous elements. Please consider this before attending, particularly if you have young children. We do welcome makers of all ages, but please ensure that young children are closely supervised at all times.

Rain or Shine. No Refunds/Exchanges. Tickets cannot be replaced.

  1. can i get a reminder when the tickets are ready?

    • Mark – you can Like the Facebook page or Follow the Twitter feed in order to receive an update when the tickets go on sale.

  2. Re: Twitter & Facebook… I would prefer there was an email signup, too. I don’t like to Like or Follow things just to get information.

  3. At the bottom of the “Home” page on your site, it lists Maker Workshops on June 2 and June 3 (such as “unwise microwave oven experiments” etc), but no location. Is this a mistake? If there are workshops on those days, where are they?

  4. I would like to leave feedback about this years faire. Is there a way to?
