Eventbrite - Seattle Mini Maker Faire 2013Save time and money by purchasing Seattle Mini Maker Faire tickets online, printing your bar-coded ticket at home, and speeding through the ticket-holders line!  You can also buy tickets at the door on the days of the event with cash or credit card.  Seattle Mini Maker Faire 2013 is June 8th and 9th, 10 AM to 6 PM at the Seattle Center in the Northwest Rooms.  The Northwest Rooms are just north of the Key Arena click here for a map that pinpoints the building on the corner of Republican Street and 1st Avenue North.

Seattle Mini Maker Faire celebrates learning, creation, and knowledge sharing. At Seattle Mini Maker Faire, you will find exhibits created by professionals and amateurs from across the Pacific Northwest.

Some exhibits that are interactive may contain small parts and pieces, moving parts, hot soldering irons, hot glueguns, electricity, and other potentially dangerous elements. Please consider this before attending, particularly if you have young children. We welcome makers of all ages, but please ensure that young children are closely supervised at all times.

Where are the Northwest Rooms at the Seattle Center?

You can find the Northwest Rooms in the Northwest corner of Seattle Center.  That is just north of Key Arena and west of the International Fountain.  The closest cross streets are Republican St and 1st Ave N.  Click here for a map.

What days and hours will Seattle Mini Maker Faire be open to the public?

Saturday, June 8th, 10:00 a.m.  to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 9th, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.   Based on attendance from last year, Sunday will be less crowded and you can spend more time working in the workshops.

Where can I park?

Parking is available in three Seattle Center parking facilities: the Mercer Garage, the 1st Ave N Garage, and the 5th Ave N Garage.  More information is available at the Seattle Center website. Designated handicap parking is available for guests with disabilities in all Seattle Center parking garages.

Is public transportation available?

Over a dozen neighborhood bus routes stop at Seattle Center!  You can view a list of Seattle bus routes, or use the King County Metro Transit online trip planner.

Can I bring my dog?

Service Dogs only inside the Seattle Center buildings.

Where can I buy lunch?

In addition to the restaurants permanently located at the Seattle Center, we’ve invited food trucks to park near Seattle Mini Maker Faire in the Alki Courtyard and on Republican Street near 1st Avenue North.

  1. can i get a reminder when the tickets are ready?

    • Mark – you can Like the Facebook page or Follow the Twitter feed in order to receive an update when the tickets go on sale.

  2. Re: Twitter & Facebook… I would prefer there was an email signup, too. I don’t like to Like or Follow things just to get information.

  3. At the bottom of the “Home” page on your site, it lists Maker Workshops on June 2 and June 3 (such as “unwise microwave oven experiments” etc), but no location. Is this a mistake? If there are workshops on those days, where are they?
